Biography:

I have been teaching fourth grade at Gulledge since 2021, and I truly can’t imagine being anywhere else! I studied Child Development at the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!) and later earned my Master’s in Education from Southern Methodist University. Outside the classroom, you can usually find me playing soccer, biking around White Rock Lake, traveling to new places, jamming out at concerts, or just spending quality time with my family and friends. I’m all about making memories—both in and out of the classroom!

Fourth grade is the best year—especially because we get to dive into Texas History! I love finding ways to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful for my students. As a proud graduate of Plano schools, I’m thrilled to be back in the district that played such a big role in shaping who I am today!

Biography:

I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education, ESL Generalist certification. I have two sweet cats named Moonie and JoJo, and I love to read in my free time.

Fourth grade is such a pivotal year in a child's academic and emotional development, and it is a privilege to help guide and witness their growth. I firmly believe that teaching a child to love learning opens countless doors for their future. In my classroom, I strive to create a kind and supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, learning from mistakes, and celebrating each other’s successes.

Biography:

I grew up in Plano and graduated college from Stephen F. Austin State University. My daughter, Addison, is in 4th grade at Gulledge. We love to swim, travel, play games and read together. We travel to Austin to see my parents in Lakeway. My sister and brother in law live in Cedar Park and have identical twin girls. We love to spend time with our family.

I love teaching and LOVE being a Gulledge Gator. I am thrilled to be returning to teach 4th grade. It is always fun to "move up" and see many familiar faces to teach.
