My husband Jake and I are both PISD alums and proud to be raising our two children here. Jace is a senior at PSHS and Carla is a sophomore at Vines. Both are very involved in band, with Carla being a drum major this year! I love spending time with my kids, crafting and volunteering with scouts and band. We have two dogs, two cats, and two snakes, and would probably have more if we could.

I love being at Gulledge because of the awesome team that our admin have built. I am looking forward to working with the other First Grade teachers to make this year amazing. We are passionate about creating a safe and happy place for our firsties to learn.

My name is Mackenzie Karlin! I am a new mom to a sweet baby boy, Jude and have been married to my husband, Ryan, for 3 years. We also have a Bernese Mountain Dog, Kacey, who we call our first-born! In my free time I like to travel, exercise, cook, and cheer on my Kansas City sports teams!

I am so excited to be returning to 1st grade at Gulledge this school year! There is nothing like watching a Firstie grow throughout the year and seeing all of those lightbulb moments and toothless smiles along the way. Gulledge is such a wonderful community, truly unlike any other.

Hello! My name is Emily Jackson, and I am a first grade teacher at Gulledge
I grew up going to plano schools, and I am so fortunate to teach in PISD at such an incredible school with a great community.
When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my pets at home.

I am excited to get to grow with my students, staff, and the families at Gulledge. I am extremely passionate about teaching and building meaningful relationships with the people around me and I cannot wait to start this next school year!

My name is Madison and I also go by Maddie. I have a brother and two cats, Jasper and Jax. In my free time I love being outside, going to concerts and painting.
